Flying out of MSP to NYC has been expensive lately, so when the company is not picking up the tab we’ll fly Sun Country. It’s definitely one of the least enjoyable airlines that I’ve ever flown on, but if it saves me a couple hundred bucks I can learn to live with a seat in my knees for a couple hours.

I flew Sun Country from Logan to Seattle, August 17th, 2001. On the MPLS to Sea-Tac leg, I was in the last row by a stinking loo, with a fresh vomit stain on the carpet. I was told with pride by the pilot that this plane had only been in service for less than a month. Yeah, it didn’t take long to christen the plane…
Ouch, that’s a long flight too. Glad you made it through. I imagine there are worse airlines to fly, but for me this one is the worst.
